About

Jagtar is a yoga teacher and life-long student of the practice, and He came to the physical yoga practice in his late 30s, having practiced various other limbs of yoga throughout his life. He teaches strong mindful vinyasa classes with great attention on the changing states of the mind chatter.

Jagtar came to the physical practice by accident when his physio told him that his overall muscle level tightness was extremely high. This appointment was initiated by his singing teacher who thought there may be some tension issues going on. This in turn made Jagtar explore ways of fixing this and stumbled accross the physical yoga practice which he fell deeply in love with and regularly attended classes in north London.

Jagtar came across Yoga on the Lane in Hackney where he did his teacher training and is so grateful for the mindful teaching that he received.

Jagtar is interested in the various practices of yoga, especially restorative, yoga nidra, chanting and meditation. He compliments his yoga practice with running, cycling, pilates, barre work and weight training. Yoga is a dance which Jagtar takes seriously at times, and not so much at other times as he recognises that yoga is a fine balance.
